THE PROVIDENCE ATHENAEUM
The Providence Athenaeum offers an unforgettable backdrop for many types of events. Old world charm and thousands of books on open shelves create a feeling and spirit that is unique to the 200-year-old library. The 19th Century Greek Revival building is located on historic Benefit Street on the East Side of Providence, just minutes from downtown.
WEDDING CEREMONIES AND RECEPTIONS
All couples who get married at the Athenaeum receive a one-year complimentary library membership! Capacity: up to 100 guests.
The Athenaeum becomes your own private library with a full buy-out of all three levels of the building. Drink, dine and dance the night away in the book-lined Reading Room. Choose the Reading Room or Main Level to recite your vows.
Special elopement pricing and locations available for parties of 10 or fewer people.
